MJ tribute is finally over! And gawd am I relieved after the last song and the bow! Days and days of practices til late finally paid off, though the show was only 1 1/2 hours. But it was all worth it. :)

1pm: Rundown starts.
2.30pm: Makan time! Photoshooting session.
4pm: Went shopping at Jusco.
5.30pm: Hung out at Carin's place bejeweled-ing lol.
6.30pm: Dress up and prepare self. Drive to college.
7pm: Reached college. Makan again!
7.45pm: Stand by at backstage.
8.45pm: Show begins!
10.15pm: Show ends! Hung around in college. Took pictures, chit chat and such.
11.10pm: Drove to Pavilion for a movie.
11.50pm: Cloudy with a chance of meatballs with Ovira and Carin.
1.30am: Movie ends. Drop both of them back home and drove home.
Everyone really did a great job and I really enjoyed the show. =) I was a bit nervous at the first song the choir was supposed to sing - Ben/I'll Be There - but then quickly got used to it. I was also surprised that we had a large crowd in the recital hall! It was so huge that when we ghosts wanted to go down and scare the people, we couldn't move til the back HAHA and had to move back to the stage.
Guys good job! Everyone did fantastic! It is YOU that made it happening. Because of YOU the tribute was a huge success! And the choir's most happening part is - we got the weird part in World Medley RIGHT! THREE TIMES!!! Woohoo! AYKM is damn proud of us la! xD
ICOM will be sponsoring everyone who is involved in the tribute a movie ticket to MJ's movie This Is It. And it will be on next Friday at 7pm in KLCC. Awesome kan?! HEE. Also, we hope to get sponsorship to bring the tribute out of ICOM. And also to get some pocket money HAHA. Oh well, who doesn't love money? =P
Took pictures but they aren't with me. Will post it later when I get them.
So people, THAT was it. A good show ended with a celebration in the cinema and a sore throat. But really, it's all worth it. It was never this well done before. Thanks to everyone who put in effort to make this happen.
Btw...
"Doc, what's wrong with him (his son)?"
"He's in food coma."
- Cloudy with a chance of meatballs
LOL.

Long ride home
After dropping Ovira and Carin home, I started my looooooong ride home as usual. Only difference is, it was at 11pm, a cold night. Had my windows winded down to enjoy the breeze.
It was a long ride home. But I enjoyed it pretty much. Let my mind wandered as I drove, dangerous I know, but I could still concentrate on the road.
The night was just brilliant. No jams, smooth traffic all the way home. I love it that way. Or maybe I'm just bias, cause I love the night more. ;)
Day time... It's just too busy, too noisy. Chill man, what's the hurry?
Hammer me on the head and...
Fly me to the moon
And let me play among the stars
...
Oh by the way, check out my door's new design.

Door knob removed cause it locked me inside. And yesterday night we went DONG DONG TUK TUK PONG PONG in my room. So awesome, kan?

I stuck a plastic bag in the hole and kept my giant clock at the door for privacy. The clock's been there for ages and not hung up, might as well make use of it. :P
Yay I'm getting a new door!

:'( Doushite...
It's been a while since I last wrote about the happenings in my life.
Well, there ain't much to say except that since the last exam was over, I have been on a holiday mood and neglecting my studies. Western Music History is over. But that doesn't mean I can stop practicing or reading up acoustics notes. Then again, laziness took over me. And my work starts piling up. And being hooked on Japanese drama ain't helping at all. Not to mention certain thoughts that were stuck in my head.
I have:
1. one lead sheet to gao dim
2. to finish drafting the program notes (thanks to my dear classmates)
3. to practice Got A Match - which also means I need to write down beautiful lines cause I usually don't remember what I hentam and start to solo fast fast. Tempo 270~ can die~
4. to dig out my The Prayer lead sheet which I misplaced (somebody will kill me if I don't find it because that's the only paper with his reharm xD) and then practice - this one I find it very hard, dunno why.
5. Practice Bed of Roses piano part until perfect - LOVE that song!
6. Memorize lyrics and parts for tribute songs
Oh yeah. I am also part of the choir team for MJ tribute. We just had a gig last Wednesday at a shopping mall in Bangsar. It all went great. No worries. And we'll be as awesome at the real show. :D D-Day is getting close, which means there will be practice everyday starting from next Monday onwards. Now that explains why I feel my routine is all messed up. I wake up at 7, come home at 9, sleeps at 12, and had to wake up at 7 again the next morning. Compared to many of you, I got more than enough sleeping time. But to me it's not enough if I don't get to sleep til at least 9.30am. And if I lack of sleep I will not do serious stuff like PRACTICING. Hence my piled up work. Sometimes I hate that my house is so far from school. The 30 mins drive to school and back home sucks. Sucks even more when there's jam and when I just want to get home fast.
It's also time to put certain thoughts away for now. I need to get my serious stuff done and those thoughts need to stop bothering me. Bad things happen to us all the time. All we have to do is stand up and move on. When I was down, I looked around me. Everything was still the same, nobody cares shit about what happened. To me, it may be an utmost important thing but to them, it's not even a grain of salt. Whatever happens, happens. Whatever doesn't, doesn't. And whatever happens in the future, I shouldn't care. Heh. Pandai cakap but dunno can do or not. xD
It all needs to stop. Just give me a little more time.

I want a second chance
Give me a second chance. I will do it perfect for you.
But there won't be one in the context we're talking about.
So looking forward to it, but in the end I screwed up.
At least it's not my tempo, like the lecturers commented for the past 3 sems.
Being too focused on the montuno, I forgot about the happening part.
And there goes my performance.
It went down the drain.
Twas a sin that it's existence is unforgivable in the music scene which I just committed.
It's time to learn to cover up. There is simply no room for mistakes.
Disclaimer: I'm not ranting. I'm realizing.

Sinful~!
I was on a diet plan BUT! I "broke fast"! Haha. Just today. Tomorrow I will go back to my diet plan and exercise!
In the afternoon I had McD. Then dinner time,I went to makan Korean bbq with NK, Haru and Richie. After dinner, we had ice creams. Sinful nyer~ But I felt good! xD
Korean ice cream.

The bbq.

That's the chicken. I prefer the marinated pork though. Soooo delicious!
After dinner we walked out on the streets. And I thought I was in Korea. Well, the row of shops are all Korean, you can't blame me for thinking that. It struck me that I was actually in Malaysia when we were looking for a cab. Kinda disappointed but oh well.
It was a very good dinner. :)

Father-Daughter Day
Today was an eventful day.
It began with me going to the saloon for a hair do. I sat there for 2 hours and got a new hairstyle. =D
Later at night, I went out with my parents and sister for a movie. Well, two movies to be exact. My dad and I went to watch Final Destination 4 while my mum accompanied my sister watch Imagine That. And it was my first time going in a Gold Class cinema hall! (though I had to pay for two tickets, oh well) =D The seats were darn comfortable, kay? Big, comfy armed chair that has a foot rest and allows you to adjust the seat to your own comfort. Oh, and there's a big blanket prepared for you. =D Love laaaaa!
Final Destination 4 has the exact storyline like the 3 previous ones. But the way the people die has become more awesome, though it's a bit too far from real. The gore images... Just plain awesome.
While waiting for my mom and sis, my dad and I went to the arcade and played shooting games. Hehe. But when we're about to insert more coins for more credits, the coins got stuck. Then game over. Potong stim. =.=
Then we played a game of pool. Then had supper. Conclusion is: It was cool hanging out with my dad... Once in a while.
